R8 Item Trading
[Mods: I wasn't sure where to post this so I'll stick it here. Please move it to the correct board if you think it needs to be moved. Thanks]
I've seen recently a lot of people selling R8 Max/Inscribed weapons of any rarity, but mostly blue/commons. Is it worth while to sell these items if I find them? They they sell well or does it require a lot of patience? I've been finding a lot of R8 Max Blue Divine Scrolls [the skin seems to be popular as of late] with usually an Aptitude or Swiftness on it. I've just been merchanting them but if they're worth something.. even like 500g-ish or so I'd trade em. Anyone have any wisdom they can share with me? Thanks! - Magic - |

shields are the easiest to sell, lots of people buy up the r8/16 or r7/15 blues
things like focuses and that i just merch as they would be so hard to sell. |

Usually it's a spear/shield build on a caster - spears give you +5 energy and 20% enchanting(+30 health), and the shield can provide a very nice 14+ armor bonus, along with -5/20 and +30 health (or -2 and +45 enchanted)... I've even found some r8 max blue swords, I think (hmm, where are they in my inventory?!...) I know at least 1 was a 15-21 damage... |

If it's r8 with maxed stats, it's usually at least worth something, simply because of the rarity of the item. Inscribable can be any color since you can change the mods (but obviously the better the color the better the price); r8 of an uninscribable pretty much has to be gold to be worth anything since the inherent/unchangeable damage mod generally sets the price.
I'll link to a PC thread of mine as an example. |

If you use the auction section on Guru, it doesn't take long to get the hang of things. The advantage to using it is you can "set it and forget it." You'll receive an email letting you know the item sold. Sure, it may take some time to sell... but it isn't you standing around in d1 of Spamadan.

Back to Zelgadissan or anyone really that has input on this. The example above was a Fiery Gladius which is a common sought after skin. Obviously common skins wouldn't sell for the same price but could you sell basically any item that is R8 and Max? Do people commonly PC these type of items on the PC boards?
Lastly, I know this isn't a Price Check thread nor does it belong in this board but is directly relevant to this topic. Would this be worth anything: (Blue) Ornate Buckler; R8 Strength; Armor of 15; Inscribed - Thanks - |
